Mr. Price graduated from Benedictine High School in 1990 he then served in the United States Air Force before becoming a police officer with the City of Richmond Police Department. While in the Air Force Mr. Price served in Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Shield where he developed and mastered team member, team leading and team building skills. He has been a long-standing pillar of his community serving the citizens of Richmond City for 22 years. During this time he has served in multiple roles within the organization.
During his prestigious 22 year career with the Richmond Police, he has helped shape the department into what it is today by applying the teaching what he learned during his military career and new skills he crew within the department, contributing to various new programs including the installation of the mobile information technology platform that bettered communication and efficiency. He has served as bicycle patrol officer allowing him the opportunity to interact with the public in a more personal level and develop strong relationships between the community and the police department. He also served on as part of the Firearms and Fugitive Task Force where he was instrumental in team improvement. He joined the Department’s Emergency Medical Responders Team to further share is his experiences and passion for developing and helping others and has been doing so for four years. Wanting to take a leadership role within the department he attended and graduated the Richmond Police Leadership Academy and the Departments Leadership Conference in an effort to continue to develop his knowledge of leadership. Mr. Price holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia Military College which he attained while serving in the military.
